Age UK: Pension credit changes ‘push thousands into poverty’

Age UK believes that pensioners could lose up to £7,000 a year in benefits following pension credit changes.

Couples with one partner of working age will not be able to claim it until they are both of state pension age.

Campaigner Michaela Hawkins believes the Department for Work and Pensions – DWP has taken away ‘our dignity and independence’.
