‘Apple Fire’ burns out of control in California as residents are forced to evacuate

A huge wildfire is burning out of control in California.

Thousands of residents of Riverside County in Southern California have been forced to evacuate.

The fire has been dubbed the ‘Apple Fire’ by local firefighters, who routinely give blazes identifying names. 

It has spread uncontained across more than 4,000 acres so far, the County fire department said.
