Bushfires raging through much of the east coast of Australia have reached the outskirts of Sydney.
For the first time ever the continent’s largest city and its surrounding area was subject to a catastrophic fire danger rating.
Extreme and Severe fire danger warnings have also been put in place for much of the rest of New South Wales and Queensland.
Sky’s Siobhan Robbins reports from Taree, a town north of Sydney.
