Bleeding borders: How Islamist Boko Haram fighters are infiltrating Cameroon

Sky News has gained rare access to Boko Haram fighters in Cameroon who’ve told us how the terror group wants to create a caliphate in central Africa.

The so-called Islamic State has lost its grip in Syria and Iraq, but that seems to have only inspired extremists in remote and poor areas of Africa to fight for their own state – based on the same strict interpretation of sharia law.

And Cameroon’s military is warning the international community to act now – or face a bigger problem in the future.

Sky’s special correspondent Alex Crawford travelled to Amchide in the north of Cameroon, and sent this report.
