Boris Johnson says ‘strategic win’ on Huawei is possible

Boris Johnson has hinted the Government may compromise on Huawei’s role in the development of the UK’s 5G network, saying a “very important strategic win” is possible.

The Prime Minister said that the “way forward” is to have a system that is beneficial to British consumers, but does not compromise “our critical national infrastructure” or intelligence relationships.
