Coronavirus pandemic ‘not even close to being over’ says WHO chief

The head of the World Health Organization says the coronavirus pandemic is “not even close to being over”.

Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said “the worst is yet to come” in the global struggle against the coronavirus.

In a speech, he called on countries to overcome political divisions to unite, as the coronavirus outbreak continues to accelerate globally.
