Coronavirus: The South Korean controversial church group at the centre of a virus cluster

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is linked to more than half of South Korea’s coronavirus infections.

Health authorities are investigating if the cluster emerged from “Patient 31”, a 61-year-old woman who attended four February worship services and who may be a “super spreader.”
