These teenagers from Darwen in Lancashire are taking a stand against holiday hunger and spreading the word about what it feels like to be in food poverty.
It’s estimated that nearly a third of the North West’s children live in poverty. When the school holidays strike, that also means no free school meals – for some, the one guaranteed meal of the day.
Granada Reports’ Charanpreet Khaira met the young people making their voices heard by the government.
