Security forces in Egypt are continuing an operation in the north of the Sinai peninsula after deadly attacks by militants who claim allegiance to the Islamic State group. The army says it has killed one hundred militants and will not stop until it’s cleared the area of what it calls terrorists. The military also confirmed 17 soldiers had been killed, although local reports put the number of casualties higher.
