Former UK consulate worker says he was tortured in China

Hong Kong’s justice minister has said that a worker at the British consulate who says he was tortured in Chinese custody should report the allegations.

Simon Cheng was arrested on a trip to the Chinese mainland in August.

He says that he was beaten, deprived of sleep, forced into stress positions and shackled.

Sky’s Asia correspondent Tom Cheshire reports from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
