Hong Kong protests: Inside the university
The standoff between anti-government protesters and Hong Kong police at a university has entered its third day.
Hundreds of activists have been led out but it’s thought around 100 protesters remain barricaded inside with reports many are trying to escape to avoid capture.
Police have urged anti-government protesters inside the campus to drop their weapons and leave.
Authorities say they have arrested 1,100 people with up to 600 of that group leaving the university voluntarily after clashes with police and dwindling supplies.
There remains a hardcore group of anti-government protesters holed up in the campus bracing for a police siege.
Sky’s chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay reports from inside the campus.
