Last surviving Dambusters pilot Les Munro dies aged 96

The last surviving Dambusters pilot has died at the age of 96. The New Zealand Bomber Command Association said Squadron Leader Les Munro died in hospital on Monday in his native New Zealand following heart problems.

In this interview from 2013, Mr Munro told ITV News he was “proud” to have been involved in such a historic mission.
