Leeds United apologises over Marcelo Bielsa’s ‘spygate’

Leeds United says it will remind the club’s head coach about ‘integrity and honesty’ after it emerged that he’d sent a member of staff to spy on rivals Derby County.

The Leeds employee was removed from Derby’s training ground by police ahead of last night’s match between the two teams.

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa says the practice is commonplace and has denied doing anything immoral.

Sky’s Frazer Maude reports.
