Locusts destroying crops and leaving farmers helpless in Kenya | ITV News

Swarms of locusts are overwhelming Kenya, destroying crops and leaving farmers helpless.

The swarms haven’t been seen in the country for more than 70 years.

They have travelled from Saudi Arabia’s Empty Quarter and are thriving because it’s been unseasonably wet.

Each locust can consume their own body weight every day.
