Lyra McKee was one of the so-called ‘ceasefire babies’ – too young to remember the violence of the troubles.
As a journalist, she endeavoured to tell the stories of those who might otherwise be ignored and was celebrated for her tenacity and her warmth.
Her friends say those who know who killed her should come forward and end her family’s suffering.
