Sea World rescuers have freed a whale calf that became caught in shark nets off Australia’s Gold Coast.
The incident happened off Greenmount beach, a popular and strategic spot for mother whales to feed their calves and rest.
The rescue operation took around 45 minutes before the animal was disentangled from the netting, luckily reporting only some superficial wounds.
