Outcry grows over Amazon fires

The environment minister of Brazil has been booed and heckled as he took to the stage at a UN climate change conference.

The Brazilian government – specifically its president – is facing severe criticism over the record number of fires burning in the Amazon.

The country’s controversial leader batted away any blame instead accusing environmental groups of lighting them intentionally.

But he has backtracked and sent one clear message his government does not have enough resources to fight the flames.

Sky’s Greg Milam reports.
