Prince Charles mixes history with technology on a day out around Warwickshire and Coventry

Prince Charles spent the day in Warwickshire and the West Midlands as part of a mini tour of the area.

As President of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he stopped by their base in Stratford-upon-Avon to see how the redevelopment of their Costume Workshop is going.

He toured the costume store before enjoying a performance of ‘The Boy in the Dress’.

Later in the day, His Royal Highness visited the University of Warwick to meet engineering students and open the National Automotive Innovation Centre. On a tour of the facility, he saw a showcase of the latest inventions including an electric bike and Jaguar Land Rovers new self-driving concept car.
