Tourists could be charged up to $10 to drive along Lombard Street, the world-famous crooked street in San Francisco.
City and state officials announced on Monday that the bill would be introduced in an effort to reduce crowds and traffic congestion.
Residents say the scenic thoroughfare feels more like an overcrowded amusement park than a neighbourhood street.
