The boy soldier killed in the First World War | ITV News

Private Horace Iles was just 14 years old when the First World War broke out in 1914. He lied about his age so he could serve with the Leeds Pals.

His family pleaded for him to come clean about his age but it was too late, he became the youngest victim of the Battle of the Somme.
