The dying days of Islamic State

A series of attacks on Baghouz have been slowed down to allow women and children to leave ahead of the final assault against IS.

Around 2,000 civilians have fled the last Islamic State enclave in Syria, leaving behind a dwindling hardcore of fighters.

Islamic State has lost nearly all the land it once held in Syria and occupies just a small area of around 50 square kilometres in the east of the country.

Sky’s Middle East Correspondent, Alex Rossi, sent this report from Baghouz.
