Boris Johnson, the front-runner to be the next Prime Minister, answering questions on live television.
He joined the rest of the candidates to debate Brexit, tax and a possible election.
But it was Mr Johnson’s previous loose language that brought the moment of the night – as he apologised for causing offence.
