Trump urges governors to ‘dominate’ protests as George Floyd’s brother condemns violence

US President Donald Trump has told governors to “arrest people” to avoid looking “weak” as protests over George Floyd’s death became increasingly violent.

Meanwhile, Mr Floyd’s brother pleaded for people to “protest peacefully”, saying his brother “would not want you all to be doing this”.

In Delaware, former Vice President Joe Biden emerged from isolation to meet with community leaders at a black church.
