Wales is a vital part of what’s called Labour’s “Red Wall”.
The Party has won the most votes and the most seats here for the past 26 General Elections.
At first glance Wrexham appears little different: Labour have held this seat since 1935 and it’s never been won by the Conservatives.
But Brexit may upset that: 59% of people voted to Leave the EU and that could see allegiances change here and across the country.
And it’s the constituencies here in the north of the country, many of which supported Brexit, where the main Parties are either hoping to hang on or make gains.
