Johnny Depp denies “destructive and violent behaviour” at High Court in London – BBC News
The Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has denied that he ‘regularly engaged in destructive and violent behaviour’ in relation to his former wife Amber Heard.
The actor is suing the publisher of The Sun, News Group Newspapers and its executive editor Dan Wootton, over an article published in 2018 which called him a ‘”wife beater”.
He strongly denies the allegations but the publishers say the description of him was entirely accurate.
Huw Edwards presents BBC News at Ten reporting from David Sillito.
