Maradona manslaughter investigation: police raid doctor’s clinic and home – BBC News
Prosecutors in Argentina are investigating Diego Maradona’s doctor — following allegations of negligence prior to the footballing legend’s death four days ago.
Police in Buenos Aires have searched the house and private clinic of Leopoldo Luque as they try to establish if there is evidence of involuntary manslaughter.
The 60-year-old died of a heart attack at his home where he was recuperating after an operation to remove a blood clot on his brain.
Dr Luque has not been charged and he denies any wrongdoing.
Mishal Husain presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Simon Jones.
