Paul Krugman: Relax and don’t worry about the debt
Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman says the UK should not worry about its increasing debt amid record spending during the coronavirus crisis.
Austerity and reducing the national debt was a cornerstone of Conservative and coalition government policy following the 2008 economic crisis.
But Krugman said the UK should not follow that path.
